To determine whether a bearing can be reused, the decision should be made after considering the degree of bearing damage, machine characteristics, importance, operating conditions, inspection frequency and other factors. During regular equipment maintenance, operational checks, and replacement of peripheral parts, check the disassembled bearing to determine whether it can be reused, or whether use is good or bad.
First, carefully examine and record the dismantled bearings and their appearance. To clarify and study residual lubricants, the bearings must be thoroughly cleaned after sampling.
Then check the condition of the roller surface, swing surface and nozzle, as well as the presence of damage and abnormalities in the worn state of the rack.
After inspection, if you find a bearing damage or abnormality, find out the cause in the contents of the damaged part and develop countermeasures. In addition, according to the test results, if there are the following defects, the bearings can no longer be used, it is necessary to replace new bearings.
a. There are cracks and fragments on any of the inner and outer rings, rollers and holders.
b. Sending any of the inner, outer circles and rolling bodies.
c. Serious damage to the roller surface, edges and swing elements.
d. The holder is severely worn or the hinge is weakened.
e. The roll surface and roller body rust and scratch.
f. Notable scratches and scratches on the screw surface and on the screw body.
g. creep on the inner surface or outer diameter of the outer ring.
h. Overheating leads to severe discoloration.
i. Serious damage to the sealing ring and dust protection casing of the shaft bearing.
Inspection and troubleshooting during operation
Check elements during operation include swing sound, vibration, temperature and lubricating state of the bearing. Detailed information is provided below:
Bearing swing sound
The sound detector is used to check the size and sound quality of the rolling bearing. Even with slight offsetting and other bearing damage, abnormal and irregular sounds are emitted, which the sound detector can distinguish.
Vibration of two bearings
Bearing vibration is very sensitive to bearing damage, such as peeling, scratches, corrosion, cracks, wear, etc. D. All of them will be reflected in the bearing vibration measurement. Therefore, using special measuring instruments for measuring bearing vibration (frequency analyzers, etc.), vibration can be measured. Unusual sizes cannot be deduced from frequency indicators. Measurements vary depending on the bearing conditions or the location of the sensor installation, so it is necessary to analyze and compare the measurements of each machine in advance to determine the evaluation criteria.
Temperature of three bearings
The temperature of the bearing is usually derived from the temperature of the outer chamber of the bearing. If the temperature of the outer bearing ring can be measured directly through the oil hole, this is more appropriate. As a rule, the bearing temperature rises slowly with the start of operation and reaches a stable state after 1-2 hours. The constant bearing temperature varies depending on the thermal capacity, heat output, speed and load of the machine. With proper lubrication and mounting parts, the bearing temperature rises sharply and an abnormal temperature appears. At this stage, the operation should be stopped and the necessary precautions taken. The use of thermal sensors allows you to monitor the bearing operating temperature at any time and automatically alarm or stop when the temperature exceeds the specified value to prevent an accident on the combustion axis.
