Today’s Camero business segment is aligned with the strong growth of electric vehicles. Currently, the company is one of the world’s leading suppliers of components for internal combustion engines, hybrid and electric powertrain systems. The product range mainly consists of traditional powertrain components including assembled camshafts and valve trains, as well as electric motor rotor shafts.

Building on its heritage in traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) valve train systems, approximately a decade ago we began developing and industrializing new products for electric powertrain systems. We continue to transition to new products beyond internal combustion engines.

For example, the company has initiated the development of complete rotors for electric motors. At the same time, new products in the field of thermal management for battery electric vehicles are in the advanced development stage. In line with orders from our customers, we will continue to achieve profitable growth in the coming years through our internal combustion and hybrid engine businesses, even as the overall market contracts. We will use profits from this business to fund the development and industrialization of new products, gradually making ourselves independent of traditional internal combustion engines. Further profitable growth in internal combustion and hybrid engines is driven by HVK’s significant technological potential to further improve the efficiency of advanced internal combustion engines and reduce emissions. In addition to technological leadership in powertrain components, the business unit’s robust manufacturing and automation capabilities are another key factor in its successful transformation. The production process for new products is analogous to that of internal combustion engine components. To a certain extent, even the same machinery and equipment can be utilized, resulting in the factory’s various production lines already being used to manufacture different products for different types of drive systems.
